DECKS - SPOT COLOR:
Syndrome uses standard Pantone Ink colors. In Adobe Illustrator choose your colors from the PANTONE solid coated library. (Window > Swatch Libraries > PANTONE solid coated) All Pantone colors are available, the ink color chart below is a guideline for basic colors. If you do not request specific Pantone colors we will try to match your color using the color chart.
DECKS - 4 COLOR PROCESS:
4 color process is the standard printing method that mixes cyan, magenta, yellow and black to create virtually any color. 4 color process is recommended when using photographs or a large amount of colors in your deck graphic. when using solid colors, we recommend using spot colors.

SCREENS:
due to the line screen, we recommend that you use lighter or darker pantone colors rather than different shades of the same color. For example: use medium grey (cool grey 7) instead of 50% black.

4 COLOR PROCESS:
We recommend that you use spot colors in any instance where there are large areas of solid colors, and use 4 color process only when you have photographs, transparencies or a large amount of colors in your graphic.
